Personal Stylist
Personal stylist are a very important part of the fashion industry. Personal Stylists advise individuals on new trends and clothing styles. They also have several tasks as a part of their job for example putting together outfits for their client. There are also celebrity stylist who are responsible for making celebrities look good on things like red carpets and performances.
Being a personal stylist is an important job that requires training, dedication and hard work. Personal stylists typically advise individuals on new fashion trends, different clothing styles and how to wear clothing. The career path of a personal stylist usually is starting as an intern then moving to an assistant fashion stylist then eventually becoming an official fashion stylist. Most personal stylist’s work freelance so they work from their own home and work on specific projects when their client needs them too. The education in this field is not always mandatory but it is highly recommended since this career path can be competitive. A personal stylist should study fashion styling and get an associates degree or bachelor degree. Personal stylist make an average of $50,000 per year in Canada. The demand of personal stylist is increasing each year. Personal Stylist have several tasks that they have to take on such as getting clients, putting together an outfit for the client and making sure they look good. They also have to keep up with the latest trends, give insights on what types of clothing should be worn and selecting fashion accessories that match outfits. For the stylist that work with there clients daily like if they work with celebrities or models they have the responsibility of creating a wardrobe of style for an individual. 
Celebrity stylists are very important in the fashion industry. They are responsible for making the celebrity they are working with look good and match their public image. Joseph Cassel is Taylor Swift’s personal stylist and he was named “One of Hollywood’s most powerful Stylists.” Joseph Cassel is responsible for her outfits from red carpets to performances to everyday wear. Joseph is constantly finding different clothes he thinks Taylor would love and puts it in her closet for her to choose for everyday purposes but for her appearances at award shows like the grammy’s they work together to find the perfect outfit that is unique yet stylish and matches her public image. 
I do and I also don’t want to be a personal stylist. I do because it seems really interesting to get to know someone and choose a style for them. I also like how fashion stylist get to work with so many different kinds of people and go through different kinds of styles. But there are negatives to this job like for example picking out someones clothes can be stressful and there can be a lot of pressure to find exactly what the client wants in a short timeframe. I personally would want this job because the positives outweigh the negatives. 
Therefore from my research I have realised how personal stylist are a major part of the fashion industry. They have a competitive career path and have several tasks they have to do for their job Also very high end personal stylist have major responsibilities for celebrities on red carpets and photoshoots. All in all I personally would want to have this job.
